FAQ
Online tuition is a convenient and effective way for tutors to teach students no matter their location. Lessons will be on Google Classroom and Google Meets. Online tuition is punctual and eliminates external factors like traffic that can cause delays in face-to-face lessons.
Lessons can be spread out evenly, rather than being concentrated in one marathon session. This has been shown to be more effective for students. Students may feel more relaxed during online lessons, as they can have a pad of paper for rough work and only write on the whiteboard when they are confident with their answers.
Who is this course suitable for?
Students preparing for their GCSE Maths exam. This course focuses on the Higher Paper for students aiming for grades 6 and above.
What to expect
This is a 5-week course put together by a PGCE qualified Maths teacher. Each week different topics are taught (this can be found on Services page). A walkthrough on exam questions, step by step modelling with explanation and practice problems to tackle. Going over tips and tricks while helping avoid common misconceptions to efficiently answer questions.
What is the price of the course?
A 5-week course will cost £100 - this is £20 a lesson, for 1 hour (5 hours in total). Course fees will be required to be paid in full. Savings can be passed onto parents as there is a lack of travel involved, without sacrificing the quality of the lesson.
Does location matter?
No - It doesn't matter where you are located. I have been able to help students from small towns in England to students on the other side of the world with the help of online tuition.
How do I access online group tuition?
This 5-week course would take place with groups of students. And can be access through Google Meet. A link would be provided for the session after pursing of the 5-week course.
